Delta 8 Cartridges

Delta 8 THC is a naturally occurring cannabinoid found in Cannabis sativa. Because it exists in the raw plant only in trace concentrations (typically below 1%), commercial delta 8 is produced by converting CBD-rich hemp extract through a controlled chemical process called isomerization. The resulting distillate is a thick, translucent oil with a high concentration of delta 8 THC.

Delta 8 cartridges contain a reservoir of delta 8 distillate surrounding a ceramic heating coil, typically using CCELL technology. When activated by a 510 thread battery, the coil heats the distillate to between 315 °F and 400 °F, converting it from liquid to inhalable vapor without combustion.

Delta 8 THC and delta 9 THC share the same chemical formula (C₂₁H₃₀O₂) and nearly identical molecular structures. The key difference is the position of a double bond on the carbon chain — on the eighth carbon for delta 8 and the ninth for delta 9. This small structural variation changes how each compound interacts with CB1 receptors in the endocannabinoid system.
